1. What are some of the previous research projects you have done?--A Greek mythology project ( English and Latin)
2. Based on these projects, what does research mean to you?---Finding a topic and finding information on it through reliable resources
3. Describe one of your research successes or failures. Why was the experience positive or negative?--I googled something for information, and it gave me a link to a resource that was not so good. It was negative because I got the wrong information on my topic, and I didnt get a good grade on my report.

1. Brainstorm a list of questions related to your topic. What similarities/differences does the United States have with Ancient Rome?
What ideas did we get from their art? Their literature? Did they have any influences on our religion? Do we have any similar war techniques or weapons?

1. Describe how the pre-notetaking sheet helped you find both focus for your topic and research questions to investigate. Did you find it easy or difficult to create a fat question from your ideas? I didnt find it difficult because there are a lot fo ways that Ancient Rome could have influenced today's society.

1. What have I learned today?--I learned that a lot of the answers to my fat questions could be more skinny questions
2. What problems have I had?--I couldn't think of a whole lot of skinny questions
3. How will I overcome the problem(s)?--By brainstorming more or breaking some of my fat questions down into skinnier questions
4. What will I do next?---Then I'll do research on my skinny questions.
